Okay, I admit it. I have years of practice on making excuses for myself. Even when I had just one kid I was still late for church and now I have eight and we still pop in just as they're singing the opening hymn. I try, I try. I'm so easily distracted. { See there is another excuse?! }
The last 4 years my goal was to start reading many books a year after reading piddly amounts---like 1-2. Anyway, each year I increase that amount and this year has been the most---ever. I'm quite proud of this accomplishment as I have eight kids and I'm sure you understand that for mothers free time is golden and sometimes rare. But, it has been a priority for me to give myself an education along side my children.
This year I kicked in the new year with the book, "Large Family Logistics" by Kim Brenneman. Well, I could have written the book. But, I didn't- Kim did and Kudos to her for finding time to do it! I'm still hoping to find a few NEW things that I haven't tried yet. I guess some of this stuff just really comes with experience.
So, here is my silly picture with the book and the duster I made. Oh, and my daughter Makenzie (9) informed me that I should have worn some make-up for this picture. Sweet.
On to more books....

Good for you!! Found your blog through google. Love it!
I'm a mother of 5 and yeah time management is everything! I had my first three kids one right after the other (I had my son and a year later I had my twin girls), and people always asked me: "How do you do it?" and my answer would always be: "I have no idea!"
To be honest, those early years were pure madness. When #4 and #5 came along, it didn't become any more difficult. Just more fun :)
WOW I am impressed. That is a long list of really good books. I have read many of them. Reading is a joy. I have to say I didn't get quite as many rea as you. Well done!
